Unapologetically Female. Unstoppably Well.

At Pause Medical, we’re redefining women’s healthcare — one consult at a time.
This is a space created for her — the woman navigating mood shifts, heavy bleeds, brain fog, burnout, bloating, breast changes, or simply wondering if it’s “just hormones.”
It’s time to stop dismissing your symptoms.
It’s time to be heard.
It’s Time For Her.
Based in Northern NSW — Caring for women locally and across South East Queensland.

Fees
We aim to keep our fees fair and transparent for all patients. Standard consultation fees apply for both non-concession and concession card holders with Medicare rebates available for eligible appointments. If you hold a concession card, you’ll receive a reduced fee for most visits.
Care Plans and Health Care Assessments are bulk billed for all patients so there will be no out-of-pocket cost for these services.

Standard fees apply to both face-to-face and telehealth (phone or video) consultations. Medicare rebates are available for eligible telehealth and in-person appointments and the same fee schedule applies regardless of how you choose to see your doctor.

Some specialised services require extra time, expertise and preparation so they are charged as private services for all patients. These include Perimenopause/Menopause consultations and Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP). The private rates for these services are listed below so you can plan your appointment with confidence.
If you are a concession card holder and need to book an appointment but are unable to afford the gap, you can book a short consultation with no out-of-pocket cost. This may mean attending a few shorter appointments to address your health concerns but it’s our way of ensuring you can still access the care you need without financial stress.

If you hold a concession card and cost is a barrier, you’re welcome to book this no-gap short consultation for any health concern.
